1. Introduction
Welcome to rmer1.com. By using this website and purchasing our artworks, you agree to comply with and be bound by the following terms and conditions. These terms govern the sale of original artworks and limited edition prints by the Artist rmer1.
2. Authenticity & Product Description
- Originals: All original artworks are unique, one-of-a-kind pieces created by the Artist.
- Limited Editions: These are high-quality reproductions produced in fixed quantities, individually numbered (e.g., 1/50), and typically hand-signed by the Artist.
- Accuracy: We make every effort to ensure website images and descriptions are accurate. However, slight variations in colour may occur due to digital display settings.
3. Pricing & Payment
- Currency: All prices are listed and processed in GBP (£).
- Taxes: For international orders, the buyer is responsible for all local import duties and taxes.
- Availability: Prices and product availability are subject to change without notice until your order is accepted.
4. Shipping & Delivery
- Packaging: Artworks are professionally packaged. Prints are typically rolled in heavy-duty tubes. Original canvases or framed works may require specialist art handling.
- Dispatch: Orders are generally processed on the next working day, excluding UK bank holidays.
- Risk of Loss: Ownership and risk of the artwork pass to the buyer upon delivery. We are not responsible for parcels damaged by the shipping provider, though we will assist in pursuing claims with the carrier on your behalf.
5. Returns & Refunds
- Cooling-off Period: Under UK consumer law, you have 14 days from receipt to cancel your order for any reason.
- Condition: To qualify for a refund, the artwork must be returned in mint condition, in its original packaging, and with proof of purchase.
- Costs: The buyer is responsible for return shipping and packaging costs. Refunds will be issued minus the original shipping fees once the item is inspected.
6. Intellectual Property & Copyright
- Retained Rights: The Artist retains the sole copyright to all artworks even after sale.
- Restrictions: Purchase of an artwork does not grant the buyer the right to reproduce, publish, or commercially exploit the image in any way. You may not produce images of the artwork for publication on any website or third-party platform.
7. Privacy
Your personal data will be processed in accordance with our Privacy Policy. We only collect information necessary to fulfil your order and will never share your details with third parties for marketing without your consent.
8. Governing Law
These terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Wales and England. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Welsh/English courts.
